Pancakes with Maple Syrup
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 Egg
- 1 cup of milk
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- Maple syrup (for drizzling)
Instructions:
- Mix flour, baking powder, and sugar together.
- Add the egg and milk, and mix until smooth.
- Heat a pan and melt butter.
- Pour batter into the pan and cook until golden on both sides.
- Serve with maple syrup.
Chicken Curry
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken (cubed)
- 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves
- Spices: curry powder, turmeric, cumin, chili powder
- Coconut milk, chicken broth
- Olive oil, salt, pepper, cilantro, rice
Instructions:
- Sauté onion, garlic, ginger, and spices.
- Add chicken, cook until browned.
- Simmer with coconut milk and broth for 15-20 minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice.
Spaghetti Bolognese
Ingredients:
- Olive oil, onion, garlic, carrot, celery
- 500g ground beef or pork
- 400g crushed tomatoes, tomato paste
- Oregano, basil, salt, pepper
- 300g spaghetti
- Fresh basil or parmesan (optional)
Instructions:
- Sauté onion, garlic, carrot, and celery in olive oil.
- Add ground meat and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, and seasonings. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.
- Cook spaghetti and toss with the sauce.
- Serve with fresh basil or parmesan if desired.
Vegetarian Pizza
Ingredients:
- Pizza dough
- Olive oil
- Tomato sauce
- Cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or any preferred type)
- Bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach, olives (or any preferred vegetables)
- Oregano, basil, salt, pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Roll out pizza dough on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Spread tomato sauce over the dough.
- Top with cheese and sliced vegetables.
- Season with oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is melted.
- Slice and serve hot.
Apple Pie
Ingredients:
- 4-6 apples
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp butter
- Pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Mix apples with sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Place mixture in pie crust, dot with butter, and cover with top crust.
- Seal edges, cut slits, brush with milk, and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Cool before serving.
Chocolate Lava Cake
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 oz semisweet chocolate
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Butter (for greasing the ramekins)
- Cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease and dust ramekins with cocoa powder.
- Melt butter and chocolate together in a microwave or double boiler.
- Whisk powdered sugar, eggs, egg yolks, and flour into the melted chocolate mixture.
- Pour mixture into ramekins and bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are set but the center is soft.
- Let the cakes cool for a minute, then invert onto plates. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
